PFS is the leader in Oil & Gas and Energy Search and Recruiting.
PFS is currently recruiting for a District Sales Representative based in Williston ND for our client that specializes in the production of Oil & Gas Sucker Rod's. This individual will be instrumental in increasing the company's market share, sales volume and revenues, and improving the company's position in the artificial lift market place within the Bakken region.
NOTE: Due to the proximity of this shale play to the Canadian border, our client will consider residents of either the US or Canada for this North Dakota based position.
SUMMARY:
The District Sales Representative will be responsible for the planning, communicating, training and selling of the company's oil Sucker Rods within the Bakken.
Other key responsibilities include:
• Maintain excellent customer relationships while striving to expand market share and achieve sales and profit goals.
• Maintain assigned customer accounts at their present locations. Maintain relationships with major existing or potential customers.
• Identify specific high potential customers within the region, including a strategy for acquiring new business and new product opportunities.
• Assist sales manager with training customers on product use.
• Prepare sales objectives, expense control goals, and yearly sales forecast.
• Inform sales manager on new product opportunities.
• Maintain relationship with customers (end users and jobbers).
• Directly accountable to sales manager for all assigned responsibilities and authorities. Communicate and maintain relationship with all sales personnel.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Completion of high school education and two to four years higher education
• 2-4 years outside sales experience required within the Artificial Lift Industry.
• Ability to bring a network of oil & gas business contacts.
• Up to 50% as required by sales/service calls.
• Knowledge or experience in use of Personal Computer, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Effective communication skills with personnel of all levels within an organization.
• Intense drive to provide excellent customer service.
