Job Description:
|

Coordinate activities with the engineering manager to prioritize tasks and coordinate project activities.
Reviews and approves engineering drawings and calculations pertaining to his/her discipline.
The review should ensure compliance with regulatory and code requirements.
Assists in the schedule estimation process for new construction and modification projects.
Responsible for equipment selection and specification.
Responsible for the development of test and commissioning procedures.
Assists in the development and preparation of proposals and AFE's.
Responsible for cost estimates.
Develops client relationships.
Requirements
Must have a License - Professional Engineer in Texas
Working knowledge of code requirements pertaining to the design, construction and operation of both land and offshore rigs.
Sound engineering knowledge in the design, construction and operation of drilling rigs.
Demonstrate management abilities including cost estimation and scheduling.
The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
