 Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of a Primavera Regional Coordinator in Houston, Texas.
Job Title: Primavera Regional Coordinator (Temp)
Post Type: Full time for (4 - 6 months)

Report to: SPU Planning Systems and Systems Team Leader
CONTEXT
In 2010, in support of the sector leadership agenda, Client decided to implement a functional organisational structure in all SPUs. This change increased significantly the importance of efficient and successful activity planning. One of the key elements required in support of the standard activity planning process is the implementation of an SPU wide activity planning tool set which includes Maximo (work management system), the implementation of Primavera, the interface to Maximo, a the tool to monitor planning KPIs.
To deliver the new activity planning challenges in a functional organisation, the systems and tools team has been created to lead the design, implementation and management of the standard planning tool set for the SPU.
JOB PURPOSE
Acts as the SPU Primavera administrator which includes administration of access rights, global codes, layouts, resources and overall Primavera functionality.
Leads the design, development and implementation of Primavera throughout the SPU which includes definition of training content in support of capability building efforts.
Ensure system is practical, cost effective and is linked to needs of all who are using it to drive business efficiency
KEY CHALLENGES IN ROLE IN THE NEXT 24 MONTHS
Key challenges for the Primavera Regional Coordinator:
• Maintain activity codes, UDF, resources, Data Date Progression process, activitie and data imports.
• Assist in training sessions during deployment and during sustain operations following deployment
• Drive commonality in the use of the system amongst all various functions and site planners and schedulers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide leadership and direction in the consistent use of Primavera within the SPU
• Analyse evaluate and manage all change requests to the Primavera Enterprise system and participate in testing of changes.
• Maintain users, access security profiles and resource availabililty in Primavera
• Work with IT&S to ensure availability and reliability of Primavera and it's associated systems
• Work with Planning Systems team members to achieve and sustain alignment of tools, processes, systems, training and coaching with regards to Primavera use.
• Assist Planning personnel in development of area plans
• Support the implementations of Activity Planning and understand the support the AP/WMS workflow and CoW using Primavera
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
• Strong communication skills, and comfortable to interact with all levels of the organisation
• Good team player who is self-motivated, and able to deliver outstanding results with minimum supervision
• Understanding of Maximo and Primavera systems and their associated interfaces.
• Detailed understanding of Primavera.
• Good practical planning and scheduling experience
