Job Description:

An international Energy Company is seeking to recruit Lead Geologists.
Summary of Role:
• Provides geological expertise and support for exploration, appraisal and development activities.
• Reviews and interprets seismic, petrophysical logs, core and other well data relating to operated, non-operated and new ventures projects and provides an independent geological evaluation of all assets.
Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Recommend exploration, appraisal and development, and prepare prospect inventory and ranking.
• Designs, plans, supervises and manages reservoir characterization of appraisal and development assets.
• Utilising Petrel software and a variety of specialist tools to provide quantitative static models of gross and net hydrocarbon pore volumes, reservoir continuity and connected reservoir fabric.
• Conducts geological evaluation of farm-in opportunities as well as operated and non-operated ventures.
Education / Qualifications:
• Masters / Degree in Geoscience subject
Knowledge:
• Substantial experience in international petroleum exploration and development Geology.
• Familiar with using geological, geophysical, petrophysical and engineering data
• Good experience with PC-based software and workstation applications.
• Experience of working on new venture projects
• Experience of making partner / governmental representation
Years of Experience:
• Minimum 12 Years + relevant Post Graduate geoscience experience in Oil & Gas.
Employment Terms:
