Job Description:

 Swift is seeking a Senior Geologist for a growing company up in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
The Senior Geologist will work closely with the business unit operating group to locate and develop new drilling opportunities for oil and unconventional gas. They will also support in recommendations of maximizing economical production for existing assets and potential procurement and development of new assets.
Duties:
· Develop assess and maintain a portfolio of exploration prospects and work with the business unit manager to drill best opportunities
· Examine and develop detailed geological maps on properties for additional drilling or enhance oil recovery opportunities
· Develop and support select drilling operations to test new prospects
· Team up with Senior Management on growth of strategic goals for the Appalachian Basin, and also set priorities for resource development.
Requirements:
· MS in Geology
· Working knowledge of Petra software and log interpretation
· 8+years Experience
· Leadership and communication skills
· Experience with Shale plays or Appalachian Basin
