 81442 - CAD Drafter
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of CAD Drafter, based in Edmonton.
Job Description
* Perform field walk downs in operating chemical plant
* Verify that equipment, piping, instrumentation and electrical installations are in accordance with drawings and specs
* Manually mark-up drawings as necessary
* Transfer as built/as installed information to permanent records using Microstation V8 design software
* Receive direction from site based engineering and design staff to produce engineering deliverables (drawings)
Skills & Experience
* ACAD, Microstation or other computer based design software
* Knowledge of hazards in operating industrial facility
* Effective communicator (able to understand and repeat oral and written communications)
* Considerable experience in a design or engineering environment
* Legal authorization to work in the CANADA on a full-time basis
* A.S. Design/Drafting Technology (or relevant experience in lieu of)
This is a contract position.
The rate for this position is negotiable.
