This company is a leading independent energy company, based within the M25 on the edge of London. They are engaged in exploration and production. They are committed to utilising the latest technologies and tools to enable advanced extraction techniques from their North Sea assets.
Role
The successful candidates will carry out reservoir modelling and synthesis for operated fields, analysing all reservoir engineering data and incorporating it into 3D reservoir simulation models. Other key activities will include definition and optimisation of the reservoir management strategy and reservoir evaluation programmes for new wells. You will also promote the use of new technology and tools in order to increase production, decrease costs and reduce uncertainties. One of the main aspects of this role will be to mentor the junior members of the team as this company see this as an important part of their growth over the next few years.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified as a minimum and ideally you will have a further qualification such as a MSc. You should have a good track record of experience from the North Sea with potentially around 10 years of post graduate Reservoir or Petroleum engineering experience. You will be somewhat of an expert in the field of reservoir simulation and be experienced in well test interpretation, material balance, production logging and PVT analysis
