A leading independent producer with significant North Sea assets, as well as considerable holdings elsewhere globally. They seek a Senior Geologist to perform seismic and geologic evaluations to identify exploration appraisal and development drilling opportunities. Your duties will involve several of the following areas; Performing geological evaluations and building geological models using Petrel., calculating reserves for fields and prospects, assessing risk, working on drilling programmes with geophysicists and drilling and reservoir engineers, operational involvement in drilling wells, assisting in development programmes. You should ideally have 10+ years experience as a Geologist and have previous experience of working for an E&P organisation, although applications from strong consultancy candidates would also be welcome. North Sea experience would be a big advantage. We would also consider applications from very strong candidates with slightly less than 10 years experience.
