They operate from a number of locations across the globe and are looking to add some of the best staff in the business to their already successful team.
Role
This opportunity is for 2 Reservoir Engineers (one Senior one Principal) to join the team. Some major new projects have recently been given the green light and the work will involve you working on projects for oil companies within the Asia Pacific region from their Kuala Lumpur office. These projects are due to last many years and will give you ample opportunity for further career development. They pay an excellent basic salary, as well as housing, travel and educational assistance, in addition you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including bonus, pension, private healthcare, and 32 days annual leave.
Skills and Experience
The ideal Senior Reservoir Engineers for these roles will have a minimum of 10 years oil industry experience, ideally from an operator background, however they will also consider strong candidates from a service company background. You must be degree qualified and either live in Malaysia or be in a position to re-locate there on a permanent basis.
Additionally they require you to have 3-5 years experience of working with NOC's in South East Asia or the wider Asia-Pacific area
They require Reservoir Engineers to have experience in many of the following competencies
Reservoir simulation (black oil & compositional)
Commercial evaluations
Reserves evaluations
Well test design & analysis
Field development planning
EOR and production enhancement
Prospect evaluations
Material balance analysis
Decision & risk analysis
Production forecasting (deterministic & probabilistic)
Field abandonment studies
Well performance
Production optimisation
