Description of Service:
The service consists of this post will give both theoretical and practical training to the operations personnel
in Block 17. The training will include all aspects of oil processing & treatment; wells, oily water treatment,
gas compression, treatment of water for injection, gas dehydration, utilities etc. The practical training will
include "on the job" coaching.
The holder of the post will prepare and then carry out regular assessment of the personnel to provide
evidence of their competence.
He will teach the operators the good operating practices and help them to prepare procedures (operational,
isolation procedures for works/shutdowns, SIMOPS etc).
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The main tasks are as follows:
• Provide the basic HSE knowledge necessary to work on the FPSO and confirm the acceptance evel is met.
• Propose all relevant training actions to improve the individual/group efficiency or the H.S.E awareness of the operations
• Provide training on Operational Discharge Management Plan and ISO 14001 Management on site.
• Up date the Matrix (by position) of mandatory training
• Organise the agreed training sessions, lead the training on board the FPSO or possibly in the Morro
• Bento training center, and supervise the validation of the training modules
• Up date the training assessment of the DB17/EXP personnel on the FPSO and propose necessary corrective actions.
• Manage the « Master » training documentation and provide regular copy to the Training Department.
• Update the training documentation (slides, supporting write-up, quiz, training manual) with the support of engineers and technicians
• Develop new modules as necessary based on the modification to the facilities.
• Maintain and propose development of the process simulators
• Establish and manage the Training documentation centre and promote « self training » .
• Participate to the write-up of Flash Standing Instructions « FICHES REFLEXES CONDUITE »
• Deliver the training on site and on conditions to operators
• Perform site general presentation as requested
• Contribute to the Site periodic reporting.
• Deliver Training on Commercial Operations and highlight the requirement of the Lifting Agreement
• and the SOX control.
• Propose budget figures for new training actions identified
• Establish and manage a quality plan to guarantee the permanent optimisation of the resources, the methods and the results of the training.
• Participate to the development of personnel for the future Block 17 developments.
• Elaborate and perform specific training sessions in accordance to the recommandations of OPERCAP evaluation
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of two years of higher education
• A minimum of 10 years of practical experience of oil & gas operations including 2 years in a supervisory position and significant offshore experience
• Requires a specific accreditation ("training for trainers" organised by headquarters)
• Conversant with Company HSE and Field Operations company rules.
• Proficient with Trainer Simulator
• Good communication skill, organisation and method, pedagogic skills, team spirit
• Fluent French and English .Knowledge of Portuguese highly desirable
