 PROJECT ENGINEER: ABERDEEN: STAFF: mid-sized Operator
Responsible for the management and delivery of a range of on asset projects in accordance with company policies, priorities and budget constraints. Responsible for the management of the principle E&C contractor and other specialist vendors for the assigned projects. We are seeking engineers with multi disciplined knowledge across Topsides, Subsea, Construction and EPIC activities.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (key tasks/services for which incumbent is responsible) Responsible for various projects and modifications for the enhancement and ongoing upkeep of the asset. Ensure that the projects achieve fit for purpose solutions in a safe, environmentally sound, cost-effective, and timely manner The project engineer will ensure the work follows the company's Project gated process and that all changes are made in line with the Duty holders procedures. Liaison with the Operations teams and Company Technical Specialists for scope identification, progress reporting and change management. Management of the nominated contractors and any other specialist or specific contract utilised for delivering the planned programme of work Ensure technical compliance of all modifications against legislation, standards, specifications and the asset written scheme of examination. Ensure the engineering change process is robust, controlled and in compliance with procedures. Management of sub contractors will include budget control. Work in compliance with the Company's Business Management System Active participation, promotion and development of the Safety and Environment policies offshore visits surveys etc as appropriate. Participation in the continuous improvement of the Engineering and Projects Team

Interpersonal Strong networking and communication skills externally and internally - ability to cultivate and build strong internal and external relationships with business counterparts Excellent written and presentation skills, with ability to adapt style and content of presentation for both technical and non technical audiences. Ability to display confidence in own abilities and is motivated to deliver. Ability to work across multiple activities and manage deadlines and conflicting priorities a team player with good communication skills
Skills
Computer fluency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Can demonstrate the ability to apply creative thinking and to problem solve effectively Demonstrable track record of project delivery Experienced in control and reporting of project cost and schedule requirements. Vendor management
Experience
Essential: Experienced Project Engineer with track record of delivering multidiscipline, multi contract Brownfield engineering projects. Demonstrable project engineering/management experience preferably with or on behalf of a client organization. Excellent appreciation of project controls Experience within an operational environment. Demonstrable experience in a similar role
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: Engineering HND, Degree or APM Qualification
Desirable: MIST and RGIT BOSIET Training
