 Job Description:
Discipline Engineers in Production Division work in their core discipline but are expected to have or develop generalist skills - maintenance, supply chain management, asset integrity etc. The work could be 'in country' or in BP's main offices in Sunbury, Houston and elsewhere.
Additionally to support all divisions of the company there is a requirement to recruit engineers to work in centralised teams (Sunbury/Houston). This work involves some travel to operating sites to support local staff when necessary.
Applicants to this job specification would be considered for all Production Division jobs and for the centralised teams in Sunbury and Houston. Position Requirements
- Educated to degree level or similar
-Personal commitment to HSSE.-Strong communication skills and deep understanding of analytical techniques.-Detailed knowledge of subsea production control system design, operation and industry codes/standards. -Broad range of technical skills associated with subsea controls. -Committed to optimisation through common use of best practice. -Demonstrates commitment to building team competencies. -Demonstrates application of standards and practices with appropriate levels of depth and rigour. -Offshore experience commissioning Subsea production controls systems. -Offshore experience of controls systems installation and umbilical installation.
