Responsibilities/Duties:
Actively ensure that his / her own health & safety and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers is preserved at all times.
Play a key role in building and growing our services in the Canadian region.
Execute work pack engineering, coordination of client shutdown work, N2 cool downs, fire suppression, pigging operations, hydro testing, leak testing, chemical cleaning.
Perform all duties associated with the job design and calculations for field work.
Assist with preparation of the procedures, project schedule, personnel and equipment estimates for the tender submission.
Ensure full awareness of project specific contract details to actively control costs and maximize profitability.
Develop detailed job procedures for the field operations.
Execute, delegate and perform duties for completion of workscope with BHI crew.
Determine proper techniques for various projects and ensure systems are correctly prepared for the proposed workscope.
Assess potential conflicts or deviations from the approved procedure and take appropriate action.
Communicate any changes to the BHI crew and relevant Client / third party personnel.
Maintain appropriate involvement with concerned parties (customer, operations, sales, consultants, BHI management) during the product/service/project cycle.
Assist with mentoring and training of sales and operational personnel in regards to service lines.
Build client relationships and good will to a high degree of trust and co-operation.
Ensure full awareness of and compliance with the requirements of all relevant Company/Client HSE handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures.
Record all field data and issue written reports after the project completion.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Engineering degree (Mandatory).
Credited Professional Engineer, Licensed to practice in Canada (considered an asset).
1-3 years related technical/engineering experience in industrial service operations.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and Power Point.
Must be very flexible, able to work tight schedules and ready to adapt to varied job demands.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must proactively and diligently handle the engineering tasks.
Willing to work in the field, in locations throughout Canada and temporarily overseas.
Team player and willingly assist with mentoring, training and development of operational and sales staff.  Desired Skills: . Employment Type: PERMANENT Hours: FULLTIME
