Laborer
Baker Petrolite is currently accepting applications for a Laborer position for the manufacturing team at the Barnsdall, OK facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assists experienced associates throughout the plant.
- Assures all materials and tooling needed are available to complete the required process associated with the tasks being performed.
- Must be willing to be flexible to work where needed.
- Performs normal job tasks under the direction of the supervisor, group leader or experienced associates in the area.
- Must be able to accurately maintain records using basic computer skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret written and oral instructions to perform assigned duties.
- Must be able to maintain clean work area.
- Overtime may be required. Must be flexible to work 12 hour shifts.
Possible hire into maintenance with progression into operations.
Chemical Plant Experience Preferred
Physical Demands:
The employee must be able to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to assume physical labor responsibilities, which may require walking/bending/twisting/squatting and kneeling. This position will require the successful candidate to work both in and out of doors in all climate conditions.
Additional Requirements:
High School diploma or GED AND a minimum of six months manufacturing experience is required.
