 ***The Regional Sales Manager will be permanently based in Cape Town*** Responsibilities: Drive the sales of Mission products to ensure the maximum sales revenue is generated and profitable margins are maintained for all Mission products and services. Provide revenue and expense information for annual budget and monthly / quarterly forecasting figures for specific countries. Develop strategies to increase market penetration and proactively review order book to determine trends and for accurate forecasting. Prepare periodic concise, informative sales and operational reports. The reports will also identify achievements, problems and potential risks associated with implementing these specific plans. Assist Area Manager gathering market intelligence on an ongoing and regular basis. Visit customers regularly on sales calls. Ensure that the appropriate documentation in support of all sales activities is completed and recorded in a timely manner. To engage in any other activity within his/her capability as requested by Line Management.
 Desired Skills: Requirements: 5+ years of drilling experience Basic understanding of drilling operations, activities, equipment and use of same. Competent in the following basic selling skills -
- Negotiation skills
- Presentation skills
- Compilation and concise, accurate technical and commercial proposals
- Excellent communication skills
Quality Assurance: To ensure that the Company's quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures and systems are adhered to. Health, Safety and Environment: Ensure full awareness of and compliance with the requirements of all company HSE procedures and policies. Actively ensure his/her own health and safety, together with that of fellow workers, or any 3rd parties at all times. To ensure that all accidents and/or incidents are reported in a timely manner to the Safety Department and Line Management.
