 Main duties:
The Welltest / Completion Engineer will initially be responsible for the preparation of all work necessary to assist in the welltesting of a HPHT onshore well, and a standard 10k onshore well, which will commence in Q2 2012. The majority of the planning work is already complete. Work will include welltest design, contracting, HSE, cost tracking, technical support and project close after reporting.
The chosen candidate will initially work in both the KL and Miri office on a 28/28 rota for approximately 10 months, before relocating back to the SPD office in Kuala Lumpur office full time.
The business is a specialist well engineering company and the candidate will also be involved in a range of completion engineering work, including completion design, feasibility studies, cost estimates and studies.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Masters or Bachelors degree
* Minimum of 5-10 years relevant industry experience
* Must have experience in HTHP and offshore/onshore
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Experienced user of MS Office applications
* Excellent skills in report writing (English) and experience in landmark software (prosper and StressCheck) is preferable
* The candidate will commence work in March 2011
