Petrohawk Energy currently has an opening for the following position:
JOB TITLE: Construction Foreman
REPORTS TO: Construction Superintendent
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises oil and gas well facility construction and repair operations. Supervises construction crews that perform construction, maintenance, and repair of flow lines, gathering lines, tanks and vessels, pumping units, well heads, electrical infrastructure and facilities, roads, well location and pads. The position must review and adhere to defined safety and quality standards. Regularly report to the construction superintendent all costs associated with construction activities. Assist superintendent in ensuring all projects are executed safely, cost effectively, and to schedule.
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for:
- Capture and report all costs associated with construction activity.
- Review schedules against construction activity, review submittals, coordinate subcontracts, conduct weekly meetings, compile weekly reports, and ensure quality control.
- Ensure assigned plant or pipeline construction operations and subcontractors performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budget.
- Supervises and direct craft activities, construction field personnel, subcontractors and others as assigned.
- Perform general functions inherent in all supervisory field positions.
- Responsible for oversight of facility or pipeline construction related activities from planning of construction facilities through the completed project.
- Monitoring the construction related activities includes safely driving to field location and sites, and is essential to the role.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- 5-8 yrs previous E&P oil and gas plant or pipeline construction and field operations experience and experience in a Supervisory capacity required.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- A Safe driving record, along with the ability to safely operate heavy machinery, vehicles, or equipment as needed is required.
