Become a pivotal member of our microseismic team
As the technology leader in broadband passive seismic surveys and data processing, Spectraseis is combining ultra-sensitive surface and bore-hole arrays, proprietary insights and state of the art GPU-based computing to better evaluate stimulation performance in unconventional reservoirs.
An opportunity exists for a Data Manager to join us. This position will be based out of Houston, TX and will report to the Project Manager.
Duties and responsibilities shall include:
• Follow all Spectraseis and client HSE policies and procedures.
• Support the Project Manager in the design, planning and execution of passive seismic surveys for hydraulic fracture monitoring and AWC.
• Ensure that all client data is kept secure, confidential and backed up.
• Manage field technicians during the course of the survey and direct their activities
• Manage all aspects of data acquisition, collection and transmission.
• Perform all reporting and administrative duties concerning each individual project.
• Manage setup, operation and tear down of field office
• Operate in a professional manner with client and their representatives
Minimum Qualifications
• BS in Information Technology or similar is preferred.
• Associates or two-year degree in Information Technology or similar is adequate with experience.
Expected areas of expertise
• Field operations experience in some phase of the oil and gas industry
• Good communication and customer support skills
• Ability to work under pressure in challenging environments
