Job Description:

Responsibilities
•Work with interpretation, development and production teams to solve seismic processing and imaging problems, initially focused on projects in the Gulf of Mexico, Brazil and Angola.
•Construction and manipulation of in house PSDM velocity models
•In house imaging using Kirchhoff, RTM and Beam algorithms
•Supervision of contractor based seismic processing and imaging projects
•Ray based and full wave illumination studies in complex salt environments
•Velocity model sensitivity studies
•Pre and Post Stack Seismic data conditioning projects
Required Education:
•Technical Degree on MSc. level or higher is preferred
•Technical Degree on BSc. level as a minimum
Required Experience:
•Experience working with seismic contractors with a specific focus on re-processing, QC/QA procedures, depth velocity building and project management.
•At least 10 years of experience in seismic processing (Oil Company, Contractor or Consultancy)
including :
•Seismic survey design
•Pre-stack seismic modeling
•Post migration signal enhancement
•Velocity model building for depth migration.
•Time and depth migration experience should include:
•Kirchhoff migration
•Wave-equation migration
•Reverse-time migration and beam migration.
•A keen interest in applying new technology and workflows will be appreciated.
