Job Description:
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide sales and technical support to customers in the sales and service of downhole tools.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    „X Develop sales strategy to ensure direct customer contact throughout Eastern Australia and any other areas as assigned by Country Manager Australasia.
    „X Call on management representatives such as engineers, drilling superintendents or other personnel within oil and gas related companies and organizations.
    „X Prepare sales reporting and/or call reports as required to indicate sales activity and historical data.
    „X Prepare sales or service presentations or contracts for products or services.
    „X Review blueprints, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates of proposed equipment or services.
    „X Responsible for running Brisbane and Roma office, co-ordinating customer and agent enquiries, book keeping and any email and fax correspondence.
    „X Participate in Project Planning and/or Spud Meetings.
    „X Closely work with operations personnel.
    „X Assist TAM personnel in service-related or sales issues or questions.
    „X Provide technical training to clients.
    „X Perform other duties as assigned by Country Manager Australasia.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

College or technical school degree preferred and three to five years related experience in oilfield sales and applications and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of downhole products and procedures is essential.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to work under a minimum of supervision.  Ability to read and understand engineering drawings as they pertain to assembly of inflatable packers or related downhole tools.  Basic to intermediate skills in MS Office products to include Word, Excel & PowerPoint and related systems.  Familiarity with computer networks and e-mail.
