Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Communicate, monitor and assess implementation of global and regional Enterprise (Operational) Excellence Policies and initiatives specific to BU within assigned geo-area
    • Assists local management efforts to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), risk/aspect registers and hazard assessments
    • Liaise with Geo-Area QHSSE staff to support activities of the business unit ensuring compliance with Company HR policies and all governmental health, safety and fair employment practices
    • Liaise with the Geo-Area QHSSE staff to establish, allocate and coordinate resources for and maintain the schedule of internal and external EEP or other Operational Excellence related audits
    • Schedule and participate in management reviews of the business unit Quality Management System (QMS)
    • Work with management to ensure implementation of globally/regionally developed Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs for all reporting product lines
    • Ensure Business Unit support and use of Enterprise Solutions for monitoring performance, costs of quality and for tracking, trending, analysis and reporting of critical business unit performance metrics (i.e. Customer Satisfaction, Failures/Incidents and Trends, Corrective Actions, Improvement Efforts, etc.) within assigned Geo-Area
    • Oversee implementation, training and usage of Corporate Enterprise Solutions (WPTS, Stellent, EDS, etc.) within assigned Geo-Area
    • Assist with implementation of BU specific Systems and Tools developed to ensure or enhance organizational competence and customer satisfaction
    • Work closely with Geo-Area operations on the introduction of new products and technology ensuring proper process communication and control as per IMS Policy and Procedures
    • Perform or oversee completion of root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for injury cases and/or operational incidents and ensure Corrective Actions are prescribed, communicated and integrated into Regional or Global Policies and Procedures as appropriate
    • Budgetary responsibility as may be assigned
    • Submit all required reports on a timely basis

QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5 years O&G industry experience (preferred)
    • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
    • Advanced computer skills with specific knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Leadership and Team Building skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects directly or as part of a team
    • Ability to create a positive and cooperative work environment
    • Experience managing ISO/API quality management systems (preferred)
    • High School Diploma
    • Holder of an acceptable Bachelor's degree in engineering or applicable science (preferred but not required)
    • Holder of an auditing certification of equivalence to an ISO or similar certifying body Management System (preferred but not required)
    • The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
    • The ability to travel as required by scope of job duties
    • Communication Skills requisite to assist in maintaining an audit schedule with sufficient notice to facilities and allowing for successful completion of audits
    • Ability to work with multiple levels and functions within the Company creating a favorable impression.
    • Ability to work flexible schedule as job duties may require for optimum performance
