Job Description:
This Technical Services Engineer located in Tunkhannock, PA,  will be involved with project engineering/management and optimization of gas gathering systems, a broad range of gas gathering,  compression, and  dehydration applications so that the assets becomes more reliable, safe and efficient.  This will be accomplished through providing engineering solutions to technical problems daily, managing Small Capital/O&M projects that reside in Appalachian Basin Technical Services (ABTS), and identifying and developing improvement opportunities.  

Responsibilities:

    -Strong knowledge of process controls and industrial facility electrical power distribution and loads.  
    -Demonstrated ability to quickly generate conceptual facility designs and preliminary cost estimates as well as screening economic analysis.
    -Working knowledge of tools for evaluating compressor and pipeline hydraulic performance would be a plus.
    -Work seamlessly with the Operations, Maintenance and Marketing organizations to safely operate, maintain, optimize and improve the plant facilities.
    - Create effective operating procedures and parameters.
    - Coordinate efforts to improve compressor station and pipeline facility efficiencies and reduce operating costs.
    - Provide technical input to the planning and implementation of compressor and pipeline  maintenance projects.
    - Facilitate engineering troubleshooting efforts and coordinate the support of other technical disciplines.
    - Provide engineering point of view during Asset Team Meeting so that the right decision can be made.
    - Coordinate Operational input with Marketing and Engineering & Construction department on new projects.
    - Provide technical assistance for regulatory compliance, safety support, and technical training initiatives.
    - Provide troubleshooting, analysis, and engineering modeling support for gathering systems.
    - Develop economic analysis on process improvements.
    - Accountable to manage small capital & expense projects following Project Life Cycle and SIP.  
    - Share responsibility with local Operation to prepare O&M or Capital

Qualifications:

    - BS in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Controls Systems required;
    - 3+ years of related experience in the gas and/or NGL industry OR 5+ years of experience working in similar position a plus.
    - Must possess strong communication skills, enjoy working with a team, and work independently.
