We are ramping up recruitment for our Wireline Systems division and are currently recruiting Completions Engineers:
Roles Description:
- Under general supervision learns to run jobs in multiple applications in assigned primary product line in the Cased Hole Completions Product Group progressing to more complex and/or higher risk applications.
- Also gains exposure to tools and applications outside of the primary product line.
- Gains a basic understanding of the well environment and the features, benefits, advantages and disadvantages of less complex applications.
- May train entry level field engineers in the LEAD Field Engineer Development Program.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
To be successful in this role, candidates are required to demonstrate:
- University Degree in Engineering or Applied Science required.
- 1+ years experience.
- Completes required learning activities in Phase 2 of the LEAD Field Engineer Development Program. Expands product line knowledge and expertise.
- Proficient in running less complex, lower risk jobs in primary product line.
- Demonstrates ability to apply downhole hydraulics principles and correctly uses product line/ application specific calculations.
- Ability to work and communicate well with others.
