DESCRIPTION:
- You will conceptualize initial design and give guidance to a team of Designer/Draftsmen during preliminary design.
- You will provide detail piping design of complex facilities and give guidance to a team of Designer/Draftsmen.
- You will perform checking of complex facilities and Work with Piping Design Coordinator and responsible designer in correcting drawings.
- You will perform initial field surveys to determine optimum equipment and piping layout, tie-ins to existing facilities and facility operations and safety criteria.
- Support fabricator and installation contractor in the construction and installation of facilities.
- You will support the Piping Design Coordinator in maintaining budget, schedule and adherence to the agreed to scope of work.
- You will identify trends and work with Piping Design Coordinator to determine scope, schedule and budget impact of trends.
- You will support the Piping Design Coordinator with information for Piping Design reporting needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You must have extensive knowledge as a Piping Design/Draftsman in offshore or onshore production facilities, specifically FPSO and topside experience.
- Experience operating PDS/Autoplant, PDMS and AutoCAD.
- Extensive previous experience in Piping Design/Drafting.
- Previous experience as a Piping Design/Draftsman in one of upstream offshore or onshore production facilities.
- Experience operating PDS/Autoplant or PDMS and Autocad.
