Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Working within an integral part of our business, you will be responsible for the Administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2008 R2 Active Directory Services in a large-scale multi-site environment. Working on SLA escalations, security projects within a global organisation.
You will also have a proven background working within the following area's and/or technologies:


Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field or equivalent. 5+ years experience
• Ability to plan and design of Active Directory in a large scale environment
• Sound commercial knowledge of Quest Change Auditor
• Advanced commercial knowledge and ability of scripting technologies including, but not limiting to PowerShell and/or VBScript.
• Proven and knowledgeable background with IP Services inc DNS, DHCP and WINS
• Established background working with Virtualization technologies
• Advanced knowledge of AD replication, sites, site links and their applications
• Worked with Virtual AD Servers
• Excellent TCP/IP and troubleshooting skills
• 5+ years' experience in the administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2008 R2 Active Directory Services in a large-scale multi-site environment.
• Experience in the capacity planning and design of Active Directory in a large scale environment
• 5 years' experience and expert working knowledge of IP Services including DNS, DHCP and WINS
• 1 year Experience with Quest Change Auditor
• Practical experience in a multi-forest and multi domain environment.
• 3 years' experience with virtualization technologies
• Advanced knowledge of AD replication, sites, site links and their application.

• Websense knowledge beneficial, but not essential
• Practical knowledge of multi-forest and multi domain environments
• Sound working knowledge of Group Policy concepts and principles.
• Excellent documentation skills
