Overview:
This position is part of EG Maintenance team reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator. The Team is responsible for supporting offshore and onshore maintenance operations for EG, Africa, in a safe, efficient, and economic manner. Performs responsibilities with minimum guidance and support.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelors Preferred
- Mechanical, Chemical Engineering
- Familiar with IBM compatible systems and Microsoft support software, planning/scheduling software and SAP PM.
- 10 years of industry with 5 years related to turnaround planning and scheduling. Maintenance activities will include offshore platforms, onshore receiving station, gas processing plants, and support infrastructure
Responsibilities:
- Accepts accountability for one's own personal safety as well as the safety of others. Supports the Dept's Safety commitment to ensure a safe work place for all through active participation in Safety meetings, Tool Box talks, Job Safety Analysis, Hazard and
- Operability reviews and in the company's Safety Training Observation Program (STOP). Acknowledges that Safety is the highest priority and that all accidents are preventable.
- Adheres to current Process Safety Management (PSM) policies and procedures and actively participates in the continuous improvement and development of the PSM standard for Company.
- Develop quality Intervention activity plans for onshore Gas Plant and Offshore platforms, to achieve a coordinated approach to work activities with optimal resources, minimal outage duration and to meet budget targets.
- Organize and direct regular Turnaround planning meetings to ensure all interested parties participate fully in the planning process and use an integrated approach to planning the Turnaround.
- Identify and recommend improvements to the Turnaround planning process to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work to a defined process and timeline and carry out a series of information gathering exercises interfacing with other departments, Onshore and Offshore, to ensure a fully integrated and resourced plan.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Global Procurement to ensure materials are procured and expedited to meet the "required on site" date in accordance with the Turnaround schedules.
- Produce Reports to track and forecast schedule status, develops and updates Turnaround progress performance 'S' curves, and undertakes assessments of Turnaround resource requirements.
- Coordinate vendor requirements through the SCDR process with GP and site mobilization of contactor personnel with Housing Coordinator.
- Monitors progress and cost expenditure.
- Conducts a Lesson Learned review following each Intervention
- Assists with the coordination of the PSV re-certification program in line with legislation, certifying authorities and company policy.
- Provides technical support for personnel on the SAP Plant Maintenance Module.
- Recommends and implements, where required, training to enhance effectiveness of maintenance activities.
- Support Global Performance System (GPS) process by personal involvement in activities to enhance performance in Health,
- Environment, and Safety & Corporate Social Responsibility. By accepting an assignment, one is also agreeing to be an active participant in one, or more of the Emergency Response Teams, e.g. Fire Brigade, etc.
- Support Integration efforts by personally committing to actively participate in the mentoring and coaching activities designed to enhance the skills, competencies, and performance of the National employees working in your assigned area of responsibility.
