Q4B, Inc., a national recruiting firm, has been chosen by a global technology solutions leader in the energy industry to assist them with their recruiting needs. Our client designs, manufactures and services some of the most technologically advanced systems and products in the oil and gas industry including subsea systems, surface wellhead systems and fluid control equipment.
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Subsea Field Development Engineer position to support customer opportunities for front end concepts. The ideal candidate will interpret customer specifications, create CTR (Cost, Time and Resources) sheets, presentations and various other documentations for Pre-FEEDs and FEEDs studies or hardware orders for potential clients as well as attend internal and external meetings and interface with customers. The position is located in Houston, Texas.
As Subsea Field Development Engineer, you will:
• Support and/or organize and lead FEED studies, technical tenders and clarifications
• Evaluate system options and concepts; support and/or perform commercial evaluations
• Support and/or lead technology evaluations and studies; evaluate and explain flow management studies and analyses
• Facilitate reliability, availability, environmental and safety studies; lead field extension and life of field studies
• Provide technical sales support; facilitate production optimization studies
Required skills and qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of a BS degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant subsea experience, preferably in a Field Development related role
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of subsea Production Systems - wellheads, trees, controls & distribution, manifolds and overall system integration
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of production operations, or artificial lift, or facilities, or flow assurance, production optimization
• Ability to work independently, or with limited supervision
• Must have excellent interpersonal, negotiating, writing and presentation skills
• Must be able to modify communication and presentation style to accommodate different personalities
• PC skills with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and project
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Must live in and be eligible for employment in the U.S.
