 This is an exciting opportunity to join Weatherford Drilling International, the contract drilling division of Weatherford International.

We are looking for a Country Manager for our operation in South Iraq. The position is on a 35/35 rotational basis.
Country Manager -Land Rigs
Reports To: Area Manager
Supervises
Operations Manager / Financial Manager or Country Controller / Rig Manager, Maintenance, Marine and Materials Superintendents /
Personnel Manager
Operations Responsibilities:
Represent the company in all matters in the Country.
Overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operations within the sphere of authority granted.
Develop new and continuing business interest within the Country.
Stimulate, supervise, direct and evaluate the performance of key operational and administrative personnel within the local organization.
Protect the company's best interest at all times.
Develop, maintain adherence to and administer annual budgets; exercise cost control within the Country.
Implement and administer company policy.
