The responsibilities of this position are as follows:

• Project Support:
  • Coordination and oversight of Structural Engineering Firms on the design of onshore and offshore facility addition and or modifications.
  • Oversight includes reviewing designs to make sure they meet the client and Industry standards specifications and general practices.
• Coordination of the clients FIMS Program Activities, Which Could Include:
  • Inspection activities, including onshore inspections as well as offshore underwater and topside inspections.
  • Structural assessment activities that assess the integrity of the facility based on inspection findings
  • Structural repair activities that address the results of the structural assessments and/or inspections.
• Ad hoc Requests
  • Platform assessments for the addition of new equipment (e.g. compressors, tanks, separators, small deck extensions, etc...)
  • Platform assessment for installation of workover and drilling rigs
  • Platform assessments for installation of cranes used to support workover and production operations

• 8+ years of engineering experience in the domestic offshore and onshore Oil and Gas Industry.
• Experience with structural design software (i.e. SACs, STAAD) is required.
• Periodic travel to client's offshore and onshore facilities will be required.
