ROLE SYNOPSIS
Baker Hughes, located in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking an experienced REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OPERATOR. This position will dismantle and disassemble all types of pumps and motors. This role requires performing repetitive duties, and the operation of a crane/hoist to transport the equipment. The position also requires overtime flexibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Under minimal supervision, will dismantle and disassemble complex pumps, and motors where close fitting and alignment are critical to performance.
- Will be disassembling by un-fastening bolts, screws, rivets, and other fasteners.
- Use of hand-tools, and power tools
- Operates drill presses, and punch presses to assist in the disassembly process.
- Clean components such as motors, pumps, seals, and shafts
- Repetitive mechanical work
- Operates a crane/hoist to move equipment to the shop.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of and operation of hand tools
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks
