Senior Reservoir Engineer
Houston
This position will work with exploration geoscientists to develop high-level performance forecasts for exploration prospects; support financial analysts in assessment of portfolio valuation and estimation of reserves maturation; assist in development of appraisal/assessment activities associated with discoveries; work with drilling, subsea and topsides engineers to develop and implement reservoir development plans; assessment/valuation of acquisition opportunities; mentor junior reservoir engineers and provide QA/QC of reservoir engineering activities. It is essential for the candidate to possess the ability to work effectively in a high-performance, multidiscipline team environment. The successful candidate will also have experience and understanding of deepwater offshore drilling, project development and/or production operations, and experience with property/portfolio valuation for acquisition/divestment. The candidate needs to possess good communication and integration skills and be able to work cooperatively with internal team members of diverse disciplines, with partners and with appropriate regulatory and government agencies. This position will be based in Houston.
