Analyst - Project Controls -  Multiple Locations

Description

The Project Controls Analyst  will support project-related activities such as tracking the advancement of active projects, maintaining project schedules, analyzing the contractor's weekly cost data and project cost analysis,  responsible for development and maintenance of a database for producing labor to cost reports, planning efforts for resource loading and materials forecasting, tracking metrics for group performance.  

    -     Prepare cost estimates at all stages of project development and execution as may be required
    -     Prepare schedules at all stages of project development and execution as may be required
    -     Prepare project progress and status reports
    -     Create AFE's for pipeline and facility projects as may be required
    -     Monitor adherence to schedules and budgets throughout project execution and report progress and status of all aspects
    -     Analyze project scope adherence during execution and determine variances and the impacts of changes
    -     Track and report trends in cost and schedule
    -     Assist in managing project material and material inventory
    -     Assign project invoice coding and AFE cost allocation

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

             • College Degree in Engineering, Technology, Finance, or Accounting
             • 3 years of Project Controls Experience
             • Strong Interpersonal and teamwork Skills
             • Demonstrated knowledge of successful project management practices
             • Strong verbal and written communication skills
             • Experience in MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook

Preferred:

        • 5 years of Project Controls Experience
        • Wide range of experience in estimating, budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling
        • Experience in the Oil and Natural Gas Industry
        • PMI or AACE certification in project management or project controls
