Warrior Rig, a leading International designer and manufacturer of technically-advanced Drill-pipe-handling and Rig components are seeking both Experienced and Trainee Mechanical Designers and Engineers for our US operations.
Open Positions: Top Drive and Tubular Handling Mechanical Designer
Location: Oklahoma City
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
· Performing on-site field-Surveys of Drilling Rigs and related equipment across north America and potential worldwide locations for the installation and interfacing application of Warrior manufactured equipment
· Design and draft mechanical and structural components for the manufacturing and the application of top drives and other pipe handling tools for new and existing drilling rigs
· Assisting and collaborating with other departments (Field Operations, Service and Marketing)
· Preparing, checking, and maintaining engineering drawings and other related documentation
Basic Qualifications:
· Mechanical engineering degree or technical diploma
· Knowledge of CAD software (preferably SolidWorks and Autocad)
· Knowledge of Oilfield Drilling
· In good health with ability to work at heights up to +/- 150'
· Able to travel domestically and internationally (Passport)
Valuable Assets:
· Experience with Oilfield Equipment Manufacturing, Machining and Welding processes
· Knowledge of national and international engineering standards (ANSI, ASME, ISO, CSA, etc.)
