Job Description:
|
 Role and Responsibilities:
Job will include engineering and design of compressor stations, gas processing facilities, meter stations and various industrial facilities.
Successful candidate will:
Lead multiple and fast pace projects with support staff under his/her direction for project 4160V and below.
Perform design with schedule and budget in mind.
Able to work with clients to determine clients' needs and recommend solutions.
Coordinate execution of projects with other disciplines and the project manager.
Be knowledgeable in the preparation of complete quality packages for the engineering, procurement and construction of power systems for multiple clients.
Develop/ modify equipment specifications (SWGR, MCC, Generators, Panels, UPS and other various equipment) for 4160V and below electrical equipment with little to no supervision.
Complete and document all power calculations (grounding, load list, equipment sizing, wire sizing, cable tray and conduit fill, ect.).
Use SKM Power Tools or similar power system design software.
Specify, coordinate and set protective equipment and backup generators.
Support field start-up including power system checkout, trouble shooting and relay coordination.
Perform design tasks in accordance with accepted engineering practices and standards utilizing both manual and computer based methods.
Make decisions independently on engineering problems and methods, and represent the organization to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's or higher degree in electrical engineering or other appropriate discipline. Minimum five years of design work in oil & gas processing/compressor plants or related industries.
Working knowledge of 4160V and below power system design.
License/Certification/Security card needed:
Must have PE license or the ability to obtain one.
