Description:
Immediate need for Civil or Mechanical Engineers to support the growing oil and gas program throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio. A minimum of 5 years experience providing engineering oversight on development projects. Excellent benefits and paid relocation.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the position will be to support the siting, design and construction of new liquids and natural gas midstream infrastructure located in the Marcellus and Utica Shale.
Communicate with project team members (route development, land, permitting, construction, etc.) to ensure all engineering aspects of the project are considered, evaluated, and incorporated into the final pipeline design documentation.
Coordinate staking with land department, engineering and surveying resources.
Working closely with construction team during construction phase to answer and resolve engineering related questions or concerns, as well as coordinating necessary design modifications resulting from changed field conditions.
Report on progress, hurdles and road blocks so that solutions can be identified quickly to keep the project on or ahead of schedule.
Monitor the construction activities to proactively identify any items that may affect cost or schedule and to monitor construction quality and adherence to permit constraints.
Perform post construction inspections as they relate to erosion and sediment controls and other items as required by various permits.
Requirements
Bachelor of science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5-10 years of experience providing engineering oversight on development projects.
Experience with oil and gas development projects is desired.
Willingness and ability to travel to job sites and client meetings on a regular basis.
Ideally, the successful candidate will possess a Professional Engineering license in the State of PA/OH or the ability to obtain a license within 1 year of employment.
