Job Description:

JOB TITLE: DRILL BIT FIELD SALES SPECIALIST

POSITION IS BASED IN MIDLAND, TEXAS

US LAND DRILL BITS product line is the leader in Tricone™ and PDC drill bit, ream-while-drilling and casing drilling technology. Our application and design engineers work with customers to provide the best drill bit for the application to continuously improve drilling performance.

ROLE SYNOPSIS
Sells products and services to existing or new customers in the field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Individual will handles smaller accounts and/or less complex products and services as they relate to drill bits sales
  • Tracking & documentation of pertinent information using computerized reporting and communications
  • Daily travel in the field to rig sites to drop off products, retrieve and record bit records, shop maintenance
  • Position requires min. of 80% in the field, 20% in the office
  • Tracking and documentation of pertinent information
  • On call 24/7

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Oilfield industry experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication and time management skills a must
  • Intermediate to advanced computers including MS Word & Excel for tracking and documentation; Outlook
  • Ability to lift/move heavy equipment regularly throughout the day

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Technical Associate's Degree or 4-year Non-Technical Bachelor's degree is considered an asset
  • Oilfield sales/services is considered an asset
  • Good technical knowledge of company's products and services and their applications to customer needs and requirements

OTHER
  • This is a Field Sales role, requiring extensive daily travel, up to approx. 100 mile radius of targeted area
  • Working in the dirt/rig sites; wearing PPE/HSE attire
