• Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery
• Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as motors, controllers, switchgear, electrical drive systems, conduit, cables, instrumentation, controls, PLC's/ DCS',and other electrical components and systems
• Intimately familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures and has detailed knowledge of commonly-used electrical engineering concepts, principles, practices, and procedures
• Prepares drawings, performs electrical engineering calculations, develops cost estimates, and works closely with project engineers for on-time delivery of electrical engineering work products
• May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of electrical products

• Requires Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and 4 - 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Software expectations: MS OFFICE, SKM, Captor, Dapper, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, GE FANUC
• Requires less than 10% travel
• Prepare, Review and Approve Instrument Index, Instrument Specifications, Instrument Sizing Calculations, and PLC/ DCS Equipment Specifications
• Prepare, Review and Approve Instrument Data Sheets for Process Information
• Prepare, Review and Approve DCS, PLC, Control Room Instrumentation Point Assignment
• Prepare, Review and Approve Instrument and Electrical RFQ's and RFQ Packages/Requisitions
• Prepare, Review and Approve Instrumentation and Control Scheme on P&ID's
• Review of Documents:P&ID's, Plot Plan/Equipment Arrangement Drawings, Piping Drawings, Underground Drawings, Foundation Location Plans, Equipment Vendor Drawings, Building Drawings, Piped Instrument Details, All Instrument Design Documentation, Prepare Control Room Layout Sketches, Prepare Control Logic Diagrams, PLC/DCS Programming
