Scope:
Due to considerable growth we are actively seeking a Project Controls Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for directing our client's Project Controls department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, train, mentor, support, and audit our client's project controls workforce in local offices and on major projects
Become fully versant with client procedures and project controls tools -including but not limited to; Convero, P6, SharePoint, Timberline, Go Solutions, etc.
Develop project controls procedures, process, and methodologies
Ensure project team's adherence to approved procedures, processes and methodologies
Proactively develop required relationships with other project and corporate functional groups including Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Construction as well as other stakeholders.
Daily management of Project Controls discipline managers including the development of team leaders
Ensure timeliness and integrity of project and corporate reporting requirements
Frequent travel to project sites as required
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years experience or an appropriate combination of education and experience
Motivated team leader, able to develop and work with team members to meet deliverables
Working knowledge of planning, progress measurement, financial and costing practices and systems
Strong analytical, interpretive, organizational and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
A self starter capable of working with minimal supervision
