Scope:

Due to considerable growth we are actively seeking a Project Controls Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for directing our client's Project Controls department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop, train, mentor, support, and audit our client's project controls workforce in local offices and on major projects
    • Become fully versant with client procedures and project controls tools -including but not limited to; Convero, P6, SharePoint, Timberline, Go Solutions, etc.
    • Develop project controls procedures, process, and methodologies
    • Ensure project team's adherence to approved procedures, processes and methodologies
    • Proactively develop required relationships with other project and corporate functional groups including Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Construction as well as other stakeholders.
    • Daily management of Project Controls discipline managers including the development of team leaders
    • Ensure timeliness and integrity of project and corporate reporting requirements
    • Frequent travel to project sites as required

Desired Qualifications:

    • Minimum 15 years experience or an appropriate combination of education and experience
    • Motivated team leader, able to develop and work with team members to meet deliverables
    • Working knowledge of planning, progress measurement, financial and costing practices and systems
    • Strong analytical, interpretive, organizational and problem solving skills
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
    • A self starter capable of working with minimal supervision
