Our Houston, TX office is currently seeking a Project Engineer
Job Description:
IF safety leadership during all project phases demonstrating visible commitment to safety.
Assist in managing design work, including coordinating in-house subject matter experts and engineering contractors.
Monitor designs to ensure compliance with company and project requirements. Work with a variety of disciplines and engineering contractors to ensure all systems are designed to the required standards and meet expected performance targets.
Support the Topsides Lead and Project Manager in the application of all including value optimization, front-end loading and project execution planning.
Develop detailed plans for Phases 3 and 4.
Support development of cost estimates.
Contribute to bidding and award of engineering contracts.
Assist in planning, cost tracking and reporting as needed.
Support project execution processes, including management of change, risk and interface management, project assurance, project planning, quality assurance and decision analysis.
Proven ability to work in multi-discipline teams.
Education:
BS preferred or equivalent experience BSc (UK)
Experience:
10+ years +PE preferred and may be required by region
