* Stands DPO watch, monitoring and operating the DPO system controls and instrumentation to ensure Duties & Responsibilities
* Commands water vessels
* Directs and coordinates activities of crew
* Inspects vessel to ensure safety of crew and passengers

* Maintains regulatory requirements.

* High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational training a plus.
* Offshore supply vessel (OSV) experience is a plus
* Knowledge of SMS shipboard procedures.
* Valid unlimited 2nd, 3rd, Chief Mate, or Masters license
* DPO Certificate
* Completion of the Nautical Institute Dynamic Positioning Training courses is required
* Offshore survival and medical certificates as mandated by government regulations are required
* Valid unlimited 2nd or 3rd mate license is required
* GMDSS Radio Operator's License or equivalent certification for the governing jurisdiction where assigned is required
