• Recommend and implement laboratory methods for sampling and testing of LNG process streams, aMDEA system, water treatment systems, and facility effluents, shutdown/startup special samples.
• Manage the lab facilities, equipment and inventory of chemicals.
• Establish the quality assurance program. Provide quality assurance to the LNG facility and certify all quality measurements.
• Develop, implement, and manage the Lab Information Management System (LIMS) with support from IT staff.
• Ensure the competency of lab staff to meet quality assurance requirements.
• Stay current with analytical methods, international analytical standards (ISO and GPA). Maintain quality management accreditation.
• Ensure all laboratory activities are carried out in accordance with health, environment, and safety policies and procedures.
• Use appropriate analytical techniques to help troubleshoot process problems.
• Participate in the training program for EG National trainees. A key aspect of this program will be to act as a mentor by providing the trainee with meaningful job assignments, on the job training, and progress monitoring.
• Lead Implementation of performance improvement initiatives, (ISO 17025).
