Drives a Winch Truck to rig sites in a safe manner and serves as back-up to company Roll Off Truck Operators.
The core areas of accountability include but are not limited to:
•Operating a tractor and trailer unit or equivalent in accordance with safety procedures
•Performing safety inspections as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT)
•Maintaining a DOT driver log and record according to regulations and requirements
•Completing work tickets to ensure conformance with instructions and orders
•Reporting all safety issues, incidents and concerns to CCS management, and notifying the supervisor of current or anticipated repair needs
•Maintaining satisfactory customer service
•Keeping radio or telephone contact with supervisor or dispatcher to receive delivery or pickup instructions
•Conducting all pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor-trailer unit
•Performing minor emergency road service when needed
•Loading, securing and unloading cargo or shipments if necessary
•High school diploma, GED or equivalent
•Ability to work variable schedules/shifts and long hours
•Minimum of one (1) year experience operating a diesel truck in a DOT regulated environment
•Valid CDL with a clear driving record for the past 3 years
•Basic knowledge of oilfield well servicing with at least one year experience
•Knowledge of or experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of diesel trucks
•Ability to interact with others in a team environment
•Ability to work in all types of weather and conditions
