Description: JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs/monitors FPSO FEED engineering contractor's design as it relates to hull & marine systems to ensure compliance with Company specifications and operating philosophy. Responsible for supporting regulatory permitting and ABS classification activities. Participation in discipline-related workshops (i.e. cost and schedule, mooring/risers, hull & marine, operations, HES/HAZOP/HAZID etc.), and attend meetings with outside engineering consultants. Participation in EPCI technical bids preparation and evaluation in area of expertise
REQUIRED SKILLS:
10 or more years experience and extensive knowledge in the design, construction and modification of hull & marine systems in deepwater floating structures. Demonstrated capability to handle complex and concurrent projects with multiple facets. Experience with Oil Operators and / preferred. PE preferred
Preferred Skills:
Experienced in engineering FEED and detailed design and construction of deepwater floating production structures, particularly FPSOs. Working knowledge of fabrication methods and industry construction practices. Good knowledge of Classification Rules and inspection requirements is highly desirable
EDUCATION:
BS in Marine/ Structural/ Mechanical Engineering, Naval architecture, MS-Optional
OTHER:

Good interpersonal, team engagement and ability to influence across organization Location: Company downtown offices and Contractor Offices (within Houston Area) Travel: Local and other international locations (variable up to 20% during engineering)
