We offer automation engineering and electrical solutions to Oil & Gas customers, including: design, programming, procurement, construction and maintenance. We are currently seeking individuals to join our teams in both locations.
Application Engineer-Lead
Position Summary:
Provide customer support through on call and in-house technical support. Determine customer needs and provide the most effective solutions.
General Duties:
• Developing and performing the training (on-boarding and recurring) required for Application Engineers
• Mentoring and coaching field personnel
• Assist management in developing action plans for recruitment and retaining employees
• Manning support calls as the primary contact for the support center
• Maintaining Trac Server for all service calls and updating client information
• Rotating on-call support for after hours service calls and technical support for in-house technicians
• Provide training for both internal and external customers and technicians
• Update information databases, training tools, manuals, and reference materials as a part of on-going documentation control
• Install and/or develop system configurations on RTU's and PLC's including loading base software
• Investigate and problem solve to determine most efficient way to install changes to existing systems
• Determine customer needs and most effective way to meet them then sell the solution
• Estimate the amount of time and material to complete service tasks
• Be available for on call duty 24 / 7 on a scheduled basis
• Properly maintain company tools & equipment
• Maintain daily logs and project tasking
Requirements:
• Experience with wiring systems and all phases of automation installations
• Familiar with DC Instrumentation including: SCADA Systems, PLC, and various analog instruments
• Must be able to use multiple computer programs associated with various types of equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment using wiring schematics
• Procurement of electrical material and parts
• Experience in industrial and manufacturing environments
• Instrumentation repair, maintenance and calibration
• Hart communicator skills
• Modbus/Fieldbus experience
• Radio telemetry installation and maintenance
