We offer automation engineering and electrical solutions to Oil & Gas customers, including: design, programming, procurement, construction and maintenance. We are currently seeking individuals to join our teams in both locations.
Junior Automation Engineer
Position Summary:
Provide field service support, engineering design, programming, client relations, safety, SCADA/RTU/automation integration and technical support.
General Duties:
• Design of industrial SCADA communication networks such as Modbus, Ethernet, ControlNet, Etc.
• Structured software design of PLC's, HMI's, RTU;s and other SCADA devices
• Specification and programming of multiple PLC and DCS architecture and control system instruments
• Preparation of device and I/O lists, loop diagrams and wiring/connection diagrams
• Provide on-site commissioning, configuration and startup support
• Provide formal and informal training on configuration, maintenance and operations for automation systems
• Effectively address and resolve existing customer concerns
• Complete estimates and proposals, assemble marketing or proposal packets and follow up on pending proposals
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in automation/computer science/electrical engineering
• HMI/LOI (computer interface) integration experience with multiple platforms
• Ability to design installations including motor controls and drives, control room layouts, I/O marshalling and controls enclosures etc.
• Working knowledge of Visual Basic, C++, Access and SQL server or capability to learn
• Must be able to use multiple computer programs associated with various types of equipment
