We offer automation engineering and electrical solutions to Oil & Gas customers, including: design, programming, procurement, construction and maintenance. We are currently seeking individuals to join our teams in both locations.
Automation Integration Engineer
Position Summary:
Provide field service support, engineering design, programming, client relations, safety, SCADA/RTU/automation integration and technical support. Responsible for programming PLC's and operator interfaces of new installations and major modifications; PCL and HMI software system maintenance; manages software management of change (MOC) procedure; troubleshoot automation, control and shutdown systems; implements automation, electrical and instrumentation best practices.
General Duties:
• Preparation of device and I/O lists, loop diagrams and wiring/connection diagrams
• Structured software design of PLC's, HMI's, RTU's and other SCADA devices
• Design of industrial communication networks such as Modbus, Ethernet, ControlNet, etc.
• Develop and author construction work scopes
• Provide on-site commissioning, configuration and startup support
• Provide formal and informal training on configuration, maintenance and operations for automation systems
• Generation of project and proposal documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in automation/computer science/electrical engineering
• 7-10 years progressively responsible and successful experience in automation programming in the oil and gas sector
• Ability to specify PLC and DCS architecture and control system instruments
• HMI development experience in DeltaV, Wonderware and RSView preferred
• Ability to design installations including motor controls and drives, control room layouts, I/O marshalling and controls enclosures, etc.
• Working knowledge of Visual Basic, C++, Access and SQL Server
• Experience with Allen Bradley, SCADAPack including Isagraph programming
• Iconics HMI
• Plunger Lift/Separator process
• Must be able to use multiple computer programs associated with various types of equipment
