Job Description:

 Savanna is currently seeking to fill experienced Floorhand positions for our rigs located in and around Odessa, TX area and coming soon N. Mexico. Candidates must be able to work a 28 day rotation and have reliable transportation. .
Floorhand Responsibilities
• Effectively operating tongs to make and break drilling pipe connections
• Accurately prepare drilling fluid
• Clean and maintain the drilling rig floor, tools and equipment
• Assist rig personnel as needed
• Adhere to company safety policy and procedures
Qualifications
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and at remote locations
• Must be able to lift over 80 pounds
• Must have a cooperative attitude and be safety conscious
• Must successfully complete Pre-Employment Screening process (drug and medical)
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent considered a plus
• A minumum of one year current floorhand experience
• Previous safety training certification consider an asset
• Local Candidates Preferred
