Engineer Manager, Reservoir Background
PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS IN SANTA BARBARA, CA
My client is an independent focusing on oil exploration, exploitation and production in California. We are looking for an Engineering Manager with with a background in Reservoir Engineering. California experience a plus. Shale experience a plus. Will help with relocation.
DUTIES:
This multi-functional leadership position will be responsible for directing the exploitation of conventional and unconventional oil shale projects within our Southern California Region. This position will manage a small staff of assigned professionals to include Drilling, Reservoir, Completions, Geology, and Land disciplines on a direct or project attached relationship. This position will be based in Santa Barbara, CA, our regional headquarters, and will report to the Sr. Vice President.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred candidates for the position will have:
• Come from a Reservoir Engineering career path.
• Work experiences in a shale play.
• Has been involved in horizontal drilling and completions projects, long lateral well drilling with multi-stage frac completions within shale formations.
• Have PE degree(s)
• Over fifteen years of relevant exploitation and development work experiences
• Employment history in Exploration & Production companies.
