POSITION SUMMARY
This position is located in downtown Houston, Texas. The responsibilities will include managing surface infrastructure projects from conception through implementation, pipeline design and installation as well as maintenance programs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
• Ensure that facilities are designed and constructed per applicable codes and regulations
• Work with design/construction team in design, optimization, construction, planning and installation of oil well site production facilities, injection facilities, and gathering systems
• Monitor existing operations for opportunities to optimize and improve.
• Prepare engineering work scope and design documents to ensure they are properly defined and completed to support procurement packages, fabrication, and installation.
• Perform sizing calculations for process equipment, process lines, and gathering systems
• Troubleshooting of existing facilities to optimize production
• Develop process flow diagrams
• Develop or alter standard project specifications to meet specific project requirements.
• Prepare project specifications and process equipment specifications, data sheets and bid documents.
• Participates as an active member of the project management effort providing input to short and long term strategies, budgets, key objectives, metrics and plans for organizational development.
• Provides input for the evaluation and selection of engineering and construction contractors that meet Company safety and financial requirements
• Provide onsite oversight of key projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 10 years experience in design of onshore oil and gas production facilities and gathering systems
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
• Extended travel to North Dakota and Montana will be required
• Strong MS Office and computer skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) are required.
• Ability to work across business areas and interface at all levels of organization
• Strong analytical, problem solving and business communication skills
