1. Design drilling program including casing, drill string/BHA, mud, cement, bit, directional components and write detailed drilling prognoses.
2. Manage and communicate with the well site supervisors for multiple rigs.
3. Write AFE's.
4. Ensure daily drilling reports are submitted on time and are complete and accurate.
5. Promote and ensure implementation of good HS&E practices.
6. Develop and evaluate new methods for potential cost and time savings to drilling programs.
7. Mentor and work with drilling engineers
8. Execute special projects as needed.
9. Perform post well analysis identifying successes and potential areas for improvement.
10. This position will require interaction with completion, operations, land, service companies, rig contractors and state regulatory agencies.
11. Other functions as needed.

BS -Petroleum Engineering or Equivalent
Minimum of 15 years of work experience
Other Training- Well Control
